ETHAN IS HOME!!!!! SUCH A STRONG BABY!!

This post is a very happy post. Our Ethan is at his home sweet home. Yesterday late afternoon, Ethan's pediatrician meet up with us and explained what would have to be done to treat this type of urinary infection AT HOME!!! Ethan was released LATE last night. As soon as we got our Ethan home he took a bath and was rocked to sleep. He was exhausted. He feel asleep right away as we assumed he would.
Ethan was released because-

1.His temperature stayed down- ( if it would have stayed up that would have meant his body was unable to fight off this urinary infection) . Since his temp stayed down at a normal level doctors new he was able to fight this off.
2. His ultrasound of his kidneys-urinary system showed nothing bad. Actually, our little guy's kidneys are working EXCELLENT!
3. The two types of urinary infections he caught never got into his bloodstream '( thank our mighty god). After a couple of days, his urinary infections were showing signs of improvement after medication treatment. Isn't Ethan so strong?
During Ethan's hospital stay they were never able to get an IV into Ethan. Yesterday they were successful to get enough urine for another culture sample. We should get these results soon. Either way we are able to continue to treat this AT HOME. This upcoming Monday or Tuesday Ethan will go back to his pediatrician to have a check up to make sure all is good! We will keep you posted about his progress!

Ethan's pediatrician and urologist specialist 100% wants to continue with surgery next Friday. They believe that after Ethan's upcoming surgery he will be less likely to get another UTI in the future. This is GREAT NEWS!!

Ethan has had this surgery date set since a month after birth. It is very important he has this surgery to prevent infections in his urinary system. We do feel so sad that after a painful hospital stay these past days, next Friday he will have surgery, but he IS SO DARN STRONG AND WILL GET THROUGH IT ALL WITH GOD.

We are staying so strong for Ethan and trying to stay as positive as we can. We shall get pass all of this.

Please continue to pray for Ethan. So far, all of the prayers have been answered. Thanks again for everything ... Prayers...Support... and Gifts.
Today Ethan is sore and very tired. He is catching up on his rest and in between being "ETHAN". He is so full of life, and such a sweet baby.
We are blessed that Ethan is able to fight off infections so well . He is truly amazing.
Ethan's schedule this upcoming week consist of:
- Non-Stop Kisses & Loving
-Fun Baths -Story time - Eating- Playing- Resting- Playing- AND BEING SPOILED ROTTEN!

LIFE IS GOOD!!! GOD IS GOOD!!!
Many of you know that I am a picture crazy mama !!!!! So, even know being in the hospital can be no fun and sad when you have a sick baby.... Well, Ethan may have not been feeling well but, check out these pictures above!!! He was still A HAPPY BABY! This is what we are talking about this baby is FULL OF LIFE! Nothing is going to hold him back.

Thank you all Again.

That is such great news!!! Ethan is such a trooper, it is so amazing to me how great these little guys can be under the worst circumstances. I am hoping that things will go well for you friday. After all you have been through this week I am sure you will make it though with flying colors. You guys are hospital pros now the rest should be a breeze(yeah right, but maybe you can stress less knowing that the surgery will keep him well). All my best for the weekend!!
