~Our Swimmer~

Our little swimmer is becoming quite the pro. I love watching Ethan learn how to swim. It seems like each day my little man gets better and better. We are so proud of him!

~ Lovin' Summer~

This summer has flown by so fast! We have kept so busy, I seriously cannot believe it is almost August (this means preschool is right around the corner! This mama is emotional, my.baby.is.growing.up.so.fast) What I really cannot believe is that my little man is going to be 3 in a couple short weeks! I am excited to blog  about how much Ethan has grown in the past year. It has been a while since I updated  his stats, I have to get better with this blogging.
 I must add that we are so HAPPY Ethan has been able to enjoy his summer this year. Last year , Ethan was very sick after his big surgery, so we did not have much of one. We are so thankful that our summer has been so fun, easy going, and HEALTHY.
 As for baby on the way, we are doing really good so far:) Baby and I have a doctor's appointment this Friday.  I plan on keeping up with my pregnancy updates very soon, pictures and all!

Before I go, I have to share these next couple of pictures. Nathan's father (Pa) came up last week to visit. Each year right before Ethan's birthday, Nathan and Pa take Ethan to get a new pair of shoes. These pictures were from when they arrived home.  Ethan was spoiled with a new hat and shoes from his Pa and Daddy. It is so cute to see how excited they get.

Very Exciting News...........

Ethan is going to be a BIG BROTHER this January 2012!!! We are beyond excited for this new chapter in our lives. God has blessed us so big, my heart wants to explode. It's just amazing I think!

Ethan already is a wonderful Big Brother. He has been so good to me, especially the days I have not felt so well (morning/all day sickness, thankfully it has passed).  Ethan is so proud to be a Big Brother, he tells EVERYONE. We will go places, and he will find someone to tell. Its so sweet.


God blessed us even more, Ethan is going to be a cousin too. Yes, that is right, my sister and I our only 2 short weeks apart.  My sister and brother-in-law have been trying for 3 years. They never gave up hope, trusted in gods plans. They were blessed with a baby. We are all so happy and excited for them. It brings tears to my eyes. They are going to be the best parents. I am looking forward to sharing this special time with my sister. GOD IS SO GOOD!
This is going to be a very long post. I want to share some special pictures. Thankfully, I was able to catch alot on camera when all of this SPECIAL news was being told by Shannon and I. I had no clue that after sharing our special news, weeks later my sister would tell us they were pregnant!

~4th of July~

This 4th of July was very relaxing for us. We spent most of our holiday weekend relaxing in the sun, swimming in the pool, and of course eating amazing food. We have needed a weekend like this for a long time. I absolutely love the time we got to spend with our family.We all get so busy, so it was so nice to catch up! I know Ethan had the time of his life, as always. He wasn't that big of a fan of our family fireworks this year, but he still watched the entire show. Nathan and I surprised Ethan with an "early" birthday gift on the 4th. A big boy bike!! Since then he has been on his new bike every day. Hope you all enjoyed your 4th of July, it is such a fun holiday. I didn't get pictures of everyone as I wanted, but here are some fun ones. Enjoy!
