~Field Trip to the Apple Orchard~

Last week , Ethan's class went to our local Apple Orchard! I took Hudson to my parents ,so that Ethan and I could go on a date with his class. We had a blast picking apples with friends from school, eating homemade treats from the orchard, and going on a tour. Last year at this time, I was pregnant with Hudson going on this exact field trip. I remember like it was yesterday being preggo and riding on that wagon with the class ha!

The sun was out and so bright, so there is alot of Sun-flare in all my pictures. Field Trips are SO much FUN! I feel so blessed to experience them with Ethan! Priceless memories that's for sure!

~Kari's Bridal Shower~

Last Saturday, was my soon-to-be sister-in-law's bridal shower! The shower was beautiful! The weather was absolutely perfect! We could not have asked for a better day to celebrate! We are so excited for my brother and Kari. We cannot wait for their big day, the countdown is on....My baby brother is getting married. We love them so much!

Hudson is 8 Months Old!

Hudson is 8 Months Old!  I was very late with updating his 7 Month post so these are very close together on here. Hudson has been changing so much and, I swear he does something new everyday. He truly is such a sweet, happy, laid back baby. Our baby smiles constantly! Its the sweetest thing! Hudson is full of cuddles and love. We have our self a cuddly Mommy's boy! It is so sweet how shy Hudson can be! Hudson's personality is showing even more now!

Hudson is really into music. He loves to move his hands and try and "sing". We surprised Ethan with a drum set (yes we are crazy ha) for his birthday, and Hudson loves to play them. He can hold each drum stick in his hand and hit the drum! I need to get a video on here. We think he is pretty talented !
Hudson is becoming very mobile this month with his crawling skills! He also likes to try and stand for seconds at a time. Since he was about 7 months, he has started to go from the laying position to sitting up! Such a big boy!
Unfortunately, Hudson is still not a very good sleeper.  We continue to work on this, trying new things etc. So far, he has gotten a little better but we have a long ways to go. I know this sounds crazy, I do miss my sleep ,but I enjoy the special cuddling we do! I know one day when he gets older, I will miss these moments!
Hudson is a big fan of bath time! He enjoys playing with balls and watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!
As far as eating goes, he is very picky about baby food. He has a few favorites one being sweet potato that he has no problem eating. I have been making new foods, so we will see how that goes. Hudson does love to snack on Baby Mum Mums and Puffs!  He still loves nursing, and so do I!
We have the cutest little happy chunky monkey! We love our boys so much!!!!

Field Trip to the Fire Station

Last week, Ethan had his first field trip of the school year to the Fire Station. We all had such a great time! Ethan really loved it because he wants to be a firefighter when he grows up!

Happy Friday! Thought it would be a good day to check in, and share some memories. I try not letting being "busy" all the time get the best of us! We are living each day being very thankful and enjoying our lives together. We have so much to be thankful for! My boys are my world, and they make me so happy.  Hope you all have a great weekend. We have my future Sister- In -Laws bridal shower this weekend! We are beyond excited for that! Ill check back in next week!

Almost every night all the kiddos in our neighborhood have a football game. Ethan is pretty much obsessed with it all. Like I said in my last post,  he LIVES in his Colts uniform. I try and wash it as much as I can, it has permanent grass stains. Gotta love it!

Look at all them precious baby rolls! I love every inch of him! Unfortunately, Hudson had his first ear infection. It was horrible, and so sad! I do not think we slept for an entire week!

Ethan brought this precious little book home from school to share with family. Let me tell you, not only did my boy share this book with family, all our neighborhood... and people (we did not know)  at stores saw it too. It was so special. Each student from Ethan's class had their name and picture next to an alphabet letter/

I am so thankful for such sweet caring friends in our lives. We had such a fun night out with friends.
