Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Blog World!!! Hope you all had a lovely holiday!!!
I figured I would get on here and update before the New Year. Soon enough, I know I will be posting about my sweet baby boy's first birthday.... and Birthday bash that is coming up.
This is going to be a picture post with lots of words, thinking that is the easiest way to catch up. Unfortunately, we were all very sick with the nasty flu before Christmas and as soon as we were healthy again my father came down with the flu, so my parents had to cancel our big family Christmas. So, in a couple days we will  get to spend time with more family and enjoy the rest of the holidays. I am happy everyone is healthy and we can be with family this weekend! It sure is a special time for Hudson and Alaina, being their first Christmas!
~ So here we go....

On December 14th, I turned 30! Yes the big 30... and it was fabulous! My birthday was perfect. Spent the morning with my family watching my son's Pre-K  play in his classroom, attended his craft day at school, went to lunch with my amazing family, and celebrated turning 30 with some amazing friends! It was perfect!

With my boys before heading to my 30th get together! My best friend/ childhood friend Laurie, and her husband Paul, hosted my party, so very nice of them! Blessed to have some one of a kind friends! A big thank you to my husband, and sister as well for helping. Thank you to all my family and friends that made my day extra special. I am VERY thankful for all of my gifts, phone calls, fb msgs, texts, mail, etc... I am so VERY BLESSED AND THANKFUL!
Oh and... Ethan told me he needed to change for the party, dressed himself and came out like this. I think he is the cutest thing EVER!

A couple days after my birthday Ethan and I came down with the horrible flu. It was awful...we both had to go into urgent care with high fevers. Poor Ethan could not stay awake, he was so sick. It was not fun, and I do not think I slept this month much! Doodle made Ethan smile for a minute... he loves when Doodle writes him notes.

Poor Sick Ethan

My sweet Hudson soon got VERY sick after the flu passed us. My poor baby was sick. I was scared. He had croup cough, the flu, and a double ear infection. It broke our hearts, and he is STILL recovering.

My house decor, always loving Ethan's schoolwork!!

Classroom Snacks for Christmas Party! My mother was so kind and helped out at Ethan's party, since I had to stay back with my sick baby. They had a good time.
This month we had Ethan's second Christmas program of the year. It was very cute, and I enjoyed watching my little guy sing his heart out. Totally priceless!

This is my Ethan, ..... love him.

Pretty sure he is doing the sprinkler! He always makes mommy smile!

Ethan was VERY serious when it came to signing his teacher's card to give her with her gift. It was oh so sweet!

My boys starting to feel better! Excited for Santa...

Pa Paw (Nathans Dad) Surprised us with Nathan's wagon ( all redone) from when he was little. He had pictures of the process..... it was very neat to see. It was a very special gift! Hudson loved Daddy's old wagon...he got right in!
Had to take a break and nap from visiting with family

Nathan and Ethan did these cupcakes together, they were so proud they made a tree. Its the little things....

Could it Be??? Almsot One.... Hudson is 11 Months Old

Our sweet, fun, outgoing, yet shy, loving baby boy is 11 Months Old. Last year, at this time, we were spending the last few weeks preparing for his arrival. We are crazy in love with Hudson, and so very thankful he is ours! This past year has been nothing but special and we feel more then blessed!
Hudson you are a very picky eater, but if you find something you like you are all about eating. You snack very lightly...you LOVE when you JaJa sneaks you pretzels..we tell Ja no but you both love it ha!. You still go with the flow like a champ, for we are always on a busy schedule and on the go. You do however LOVE and LIVE for schedules. You love your naps, and when it is bed time it IS BED TIME. You fall asleep every night to nursing and mommy rocking and singing to you. Now, if you only slept through the night...You have yet to do this since were born. You are so cute it makes it all okay (we always say this and mean it)!
Boy are you on the go. Complete opposite of your brother at this age... pretty sure he was not doing these things you do so early. I think you are the most active 11 month old, I have ever seen. You have mastered everything...and I mean everything.  You keep us on our feet..always up for an adventure!
You love your family so much! You love play time ( patty cake, itsy bitsy spider, singing, walking with your walker, trying to play cars like your brother, balls, right now are your favorite hobbies)!
Happy 11 Months to You Sweet Hudson! We love you so much and look forward to watching you grow!

~Hudson James you are 11 Months Old~

Too busy for Pictures...totally over it!

You are totally over the baby proofing around the house. Turned my head for one second and you mastered the baby gate arounf our fireplace!
I feel like we just had your 9 month Old photo shoot?!?! Wish time would slow down....

~A Visit to Santa~

This weekend we visited Santa!!! For the babies it was their very first time. We knew they would probably cry, with stranger anxiety...and we were right..but they only got upset when they sat on Santa and Mrs. Claus lap. They were smiling and being their silly selves looking at them... they just were not a big fan of being held. Ethan told me he was very nervous to see Santa, it was darling. He told Santa exactly what he wanted and asked to give Santa a high five! It was so special because when my sister and I were little we saw Santa at this very same location.  Also, four years ago when Ethan was only 4 months old he visited the same Santa for his first time! The Courthouse in Crown Point, where we went had the cutest most laid back, set up we have ever seen. They also had tons of cute little shops! We all had so much fun! Hope you all are enjoying the holiday month as much as we are! I guess it is a two post Monday, I did another post below this one. I am on a roll... until Hudson wakes and I have to leave to get my Ethan from school! Happy Monday!

This was Ethan and I last year. I was so ready to have Hudson! Great Memories!
