Blue Sand?

Ethan just couldn’t get enough of the outdoors today! Every break we had I gave in and took him outside. He is the happiest there so all is good! Ethan had a park playdate this afternoon and after nap time we played around our neighborhood and visted Grandma and Ja Ja's (looks like nothing got done today. .oh well…its one of those days). Ethan played with his new blue sand my dad got him and well, he loved it. No it doesn’t stain and it’s just like the normal sand. I thought it was so fun and cool! Ethan kept saying “blue annd”! By the end of the day Ethan was a delerious hot mess! He would scream and cry and then mintues later be happy, falling all over the place, he was way to tired!!! Lets just say after we layed him down he was out within seconds!

 We have a busy weekend, so today was fun to be outdoors just hanging out…especially after the week we had, I’m exhausted! Now, I have to get rested for the early walk Saturday and then heading out of town immediately after! Looking forward to the weekend, hope you have a good one. Did I mention I’m so jealous that my sister and brother-in-law are in Mexico? Well, I AM!

Catching Some ZZZZZZ's

This is how I found Ethan sleeping yesterday morning. We always have had a video monitor in his room, so we can see and hear him. As I glanced at the monitor this is what I saw ......Lil' Dude catching some major zzzz's !!!He was in such a funny position!

Happy First Birthday to Mia! Ethan's Best friend Mia turned one on Friday, what a SPECIAL DAY! We love you Mia, and glad we get to see you twice a week while Mommy goes to school to get her Masters in Nursing!!!

Family!

We truly enjoyed this weekend with family. It was extra special because all of my family made it to town. Not to mention, Nathan's Dad "Pa-Pa" was in town as well! He came to help Daddy with adding on to our deck! Thank YOU PA, we are so thankful to have your help and come visit us!

Every year for my Dad's birthday he likes to visit my grandpa's grave. I miss gramps so much; it brings tears to my eyes! So, we did just that this weekend.

We also took Ethan to Chuck E’ Cheeses with the family. We all had a blast. Ethan LOVED it there, and so did his dad. Nathan was playing more games than lil guy! Ethan kept clapping and saying "cheese"!
Last night we celebrated my dad's Birthday. We went to our family's favorite steak house for dinner. After dinner we all meet up at my parent's house for yummy cake! Ethan enjoyed the cake more than anyone! We can tell he is getting ready for his 2nd Birthday already ha! Before Uncle Robert left today he came to play with Ethan, oh boy did Ethan enjoy one-on-one time with him!

Happy Birthday Dad, the weekend was so much fun! Also, Happy Birthday to all of our close friends that had a Birthday this month! April most be a popular month for B-days!

~Such a Little Gentleman~

Ethan and I woke up early this morning to meet my mom and head to Aunt Shannon's for the day. We had a fun~filled~busy~kind~of~day! We went to My Mom's favorite greenhouse to get flowers. This greenhouse is in the middle of no-where but oh-my-word- IS IT AMAZING! My Sweet Mother treated us all to beautiful flowers, thank you Mom..we are so blessed and thankful! Ethan was such a little gentleman today! It was oh -so-cute how Ethan wanted to help us the entire time. He wanted to hold doors open, pick up flowers, pull wagons etc. After all of the hard work Ethan soon took off his shoes to relax and began to take the biggest drink out of his sippy. So funny! We were so thankful that our little man came along to keep us in line and take care of us! Daddy will be so proud.
After flower shopping, we ate a yummy lunch at this cute little restaurant and then went to Alsip's. Alsips is this huge place where one part of the store they have animals for sale and where you can take your pet to get groomed. They even had a salon for doggies. Ethan loved all of the animals! On the other part of Alsips is a huge fancy greenhouse with patio furniture and decorations. The place is huge! After all of the fun, we said our good bye and headed home.. On our way home Ethan fell asleep so my Mother told me to run into the Mall and go shopping.  It was so so so nice of her to sit in the car and just wait. For a while now, I have been saying I need to shop for me. I almost ran from store to store because I was so excited to shop alone. Pretty sure people were just staring at me. I just knew Ethan would wake up soon enough....let’s just say I made it to store number two and saw my lil man and mom looking for me. He had a big smile on his face like ha ha...mama you can’t shop anymore! Love him!

Sunday Fun!

 Today was so fun! This morning we enjoyed breakfast out with Ethan. Eating out was so nice because with our busy schedules we never get to go out for breakfast. We ordered him Mickey Mouse Pancakes for the first time. It was so funny because at breakfast Ethan decided to SCREAM "EAT" over and over while waiting for our food! Like I have said before our boy likes to eat and apparently he isn’t afraid to say it ha! After breakfast Daddy did yard work and Ethan and I enjoyed lounging around. We were spoiled with great food today because my parents invited us over for a yummy cookout dinner :) After dinner, we all watched the Country Music Awards. Ethan was a complete ham dancing around with his gabba guitar!  Hope you all have a good week! Here are pictures of Lil' Guy from tonight..............

                       

Watch Out Ladies!!!

One of Ethan's swimsuits arrived today from Gymboree! Isn’t he so handsome! I love these  Rash Guard One-Piece swimsuits! I died when I saw how “big boy” he looked in this suit! Summer Please Come so we can go swimming!

  

Ready Set Go!

Today was a great way to start off our week! We had a very fun playdate with our club, and they had baby chicks and chickens there! It was an early morning playgroup so, I was able to get the house clean, spend time with Miss Mia, take Ethan outside, and make homemade  enchiladas for dinner! What a fun day!

                          My camera stopped working at the playdate, so I will post pictures as they come to me! The kids loved the animals!

   

                                                                    
                                 Here is Ethan playing outside with all of our neighborhood kiddo's bikes! Not one bike was his, but he sure thought they were. He has a new obsession with Bikes now. The big kids will ride fast past him and his jaw will literally drop!

Last but not least, our trees are starting to bloom around here and they are oh so pretty!
