Thanksgiving & Ethan's Tree

 This Thanksgiving was very fun and we enjoyed every minute with our family together! We had SO MUCH to be thankful this year.... I did not do a very good job with taking pictures, but here are a few.... I thought it was special that my Dad wanted to decorate their table with Ethan's artwork from school. Ethan was so excited to show off his work to his family!

Next year at this time my brother and future sister in law will be MARRIED!!! We are BEYOND EXCITED!!!

This was SUPER DUPER FUNNY TO WATCH!!! Robert had this funny program on his Mac where it takes pics and transforms your face into something sooooo FUNNY looking. Its the simple things that make you have the best time EVER!!!



So, we have started a new tradition where Ethan puts up his very own Christmas tree in his room and decorates it. Little guy even picks out all the ornaments at the store!! He is his very own tree stylist ha!!! Last year was the first year we started this tradition. Ethan LOVES his very own tree in his room. Soon, I will have to post pictures of our "big" family tree we decorated. I love traditions like this with my family!!

Busy Big Brother...

Ethan has been a busy big brother preparing for his brother to arrive!!! He is such the little helper.... Baby's nursery is coming along, and we love it.

So much to be Thankful for....

I could blog non-stop on what I am thankful for.... my list would never stop. I am sure everyone feels the same way. We all have so much to be thankful for, we truly do. I know each and every day I thank god for the things I am thankful for. I non-stop thank god for my beautiful family, home, husbands job so I can be a stay-at-home-mommy, Ethan's health, friends, food............... and plenty more. I have so much to be thankful for, even the simple things.
I want to share that this year.....
"I am INCREDIBLY thankful for god to bless us with another son. I cannot even begin to say how thankful I am to have such a healthy pregnancy with a healthy baby boy on the way. I have another huge reason to be extra thankful this year...After trying for 3 long years , my sister and brother in law, are due with their first baby girl two short weeks after me. Now that's truly awesome!!! Soon, I am going to be an Aunt to a perfect baby girl, and I cannot wait!!! We have waited and dreamed for this !!! Also, I am also so incredibly Thankful for Ethan's continued good health. He is doing so well , it just brings tears to my eyes. "
 We are so lucky to be SO BLESSED!!!! My heart just wants to explode on how thankful I am. God is TRULY SO GOOD!!!!

Before I go.... Ethan and I made some fun festive Turkey Cookies for Thanksgiving the other day. We made them together straight from our heart!!!!! Hope Everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!!! Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

5 Year Anniversary!!!

The hubby and I, celebrated our 5 year Anniversary on November 11th!!  I am so lucky and thankful to have 5 years with one amazing man !!! We celebrated with a day alone shopping, just the hubby and I. We may or may not have gotten all of our "santa shopping" out of the way ha!!!! For dinner,  we decided to hurry back home and go with Ethan. We wouldn't have it any other way!!! Our dinner was so fun and yummy. Nathan sure did spoil me for our anniversary!!!! Days before our anniversary I woke up to this...........

All I know is that I am one lucky girl. Nathan has the best heart, is one amazing father, and is the bestest friend anyone could ask for!!! 

Surprise!!!!!!

Two weeks ago, my amazing sister surprised me with a "lunch get together to celebrate our baby boy on the way"!! She connected with my high school bff's and a few others to surprise me. It was beyond special. My sister Shannon is the best, she is always so good to me. I have never been surprised like this before in my life. This was my first. I had no clue at all ( i actually thought we were meeting my aunt and cousin for lunch) !!!! I sure wasn't dressed for a nice little lunch with beautiful ladies!!! This did not matter, because it was so special to me that everyone went out of there way to surprise me and make my day very special. The lunch was perfect and we all had a great time. We talked and laughed and just enjoyed the afternoon. I was super thankful because everyone brought a gift!!!!! We received so many diapers, wipes, onsies, and sleepers. My mother and mother-in-law treated us to the baby's new bedding!!! I also received a very nice baby k-tan !!! I cannot say enough of how thankful we are for such loving people to spoil us with gifts for our little prince on the way. I am so thankful for this special day, and I will never forget any of it!!!!

Maternity Photos: Balee Images

A week ago, my very close friend Brandi Lee of Balee Images  http://www.baleeimages.com/   took maternity pictures of me at 30 weeks. Of course Ethan came along to get in some of the pictures, this was very important to me. I had so much fun with Brandi!!! She made the experience so beautiful. I am a very lucky girl to have these memories to keep, I will forever cherish these. Thank you so much Brandi, your one special friend!!

Pregnancy Highlights 30 weeks

How Far Along: 30 weeks ( this week I am 31 weeks).  Super excited that my good friend took Maternity pictures of me last week, Ethan joined in too!!!! Super Special!!

Size of baby: My baby's crown-to-rump length is a little over 10.8 inches and  total length of  about 17 inches! Baby Boy weighs about 3 pounds now.

Gender: A BOY:) The name is a secret!!!
Maternity Clothes: Yes everything is maternity !!!!

Movement: This sweet baby boy is VERY active. He is moving all the time and is very strong. I love feeling him move, I am soaking up this special time with baby boy in my belly before he is born.
Sleep: Who needs sleep???? This part is hit or miss. I have not had a "full night" of sleep since who knows when. Thankfully, other then getting up to pee every hour I am comfortable. When I was pregnant with my first born Ethan, I couldn't move. I was so uncomfortable.
Symptoms: Bring on the Braxton Hicks. These are happening all the time now. I also get very light headed when laying. At this point I'm better off standing. I can tell the baby is getting BIG!!!  I have been extremely forgetful!! I have some stories ha!!!
Cravings: No, I just like to eat !!!

Best moment this week: Well, I have two best moments of the week. One, is that Nathan worked his tushie off on the nursery and got so much done. He worked so hard, and watching Ethan "help" him was truly awesome. They did such a good job, and it was so fun to do as a family. Another great moment, is Ethan's continued LOVE for his brother. I cannot say enough how much this big brother loves his little brother. The first thing when Ethan wakes up in the morning he has to kiss my belly and talk to his brother. My plan is to try and record his conversations throughout the day with his brother and post them on here. They are so sweet!!  Ethan's face lights up when we talk about his brother and when he is going to be born! Ethan tells everyone, " my baby is coming after Chiristmas' Each day Ethan tells me how big I am getting,  its super funny. He told me I was " big mama real big". We are enjoying these last weeks with Ethan before his brother arrives in January.
