I cannot believe that our little guy is going to be 2 in August. Although, August is months away, I just know I am going to wake up one day soon and it will already be here. The truth is, I love watching our baby grow up, and the new milestones each stage brings, but I am sad that time goes by so fast. That’s why no matter how hard of a day I am having with Ethan, that has already reached his terrible two stage and then some, I know I am going to miss even the hard days with him. I would not trade the hard days in for anything in the world, I am so thankful for them. I have realized that although I am always tired, and the house will never be clean, there is nothing better than just that. One day when Ethan grows up I am going to miss telling him not to eat crayons or color on the table or my flip flops

I am going to miss showing him how to do things for the first time. I am going to miss the baths, the silly games we play, the talks we have about his day before nap or nighttime, the melt downs about what he wants to wear to bed for example: (he wanted to wear choo choo but it's cold and this pj set is shorts so i had to put pants under to make him happy, I was told by many this is a stage but not sure if it will get any better, we shall see!)
I always make sure to take my time with Ethan’s nighttime routines, even if I am one tired mommy, because one day I will miss it. I have learned that each day isn’t going to be perfect behavior with Ethan, because
well he is just learning. I know I am not a perfect mother; all I can do is try to be a good mother and raise my son in the right direction with daddy. I know that life is simply too short and I will take each~ day~ at ~a ~time, and love to live life to the fullest with my sweet boys!
Ethan has been such a big boy these days.........................................His new favorite thing is ABC'S and counting. He loves to say he is 2 with his fingers not 1!
Ethan is a very fun~ kind~ caring~ outgoing~ kid that loves life. He always shows us something new he knows how to do, continuing to amaze us each and every day. I miss my little baby, but I sure do love this BIG BOY!
On June 2nd Ethan will have a small minor surgery done at Riley Hospital. We are thankful it is so minor but, we are sad he has to go through this again. He will be put under to have his stint removed. Please pray that this day will go smoothly. Also, please pray that after the stint is removed we find out good news about how successful the surgery was .Since surgery, he has been doing great, a true blessing! He is fully recovered and is in no pain!!! He is very smart and knows he had a surgery. He will lift up his shirt and say “nice, no hurt, boo boo” while feeling his scar on his stomach. He is such a strong boy!
