Muddy Fun!

This week my mother, Ethan, and I made our yearly trip to my mother's favorite greenhouse for flowers. We visited this greenhouse on the way home from my sisters, and let me just tell you we were lucky they were open being so late in the day. We got there at about 4:30-ish pm determined to buy some beautiful flowers and veggies. It was our lucky day, they let us shop!!! We had the entire greenhouse all to ourselves. This particular greenhouse we visit every year, is out in the middle of -no-where-land out on farmland. It had been raining on and off all day ( what's new), but when we arrived  Thankfully the weather was perfect!!! However, the mud and puddles were out of control. This place is huge by the way, so no matter where you walked there was massive mud and puddles. After the first huge mud puddle Ethan "accidentally" walked into, I gave up from there. This was my little man's dream come true! Oh boy did Ethan have some Muddy Fun, (of.course.the.day.i.didn't.bring.his.boots).  Luckily, we had a towel and extra change of clothes in our car. My mom and I  had the time of our lives watching Ethan in action having so much fun.  He was non-stop puddle mud jumping!!! This trip was wonderful and our flowers we came home with are BEAUTIFUL.

Easter Weekend

This weekend was so special to us!!!As a family, we spent the entire weekend celebrating my father's birthday (JaJa) and Easter. Nathan and I enjoyed teaching Ethan about Easter, he understands so much more this year! This means alot to us. Saturday during the day we had a family Easter Egg hunt for Ethan. (He is so spoiled to have his very own Easter egg hunt.) Then Saturday night family came into town and we all celebrated my father's birthday. We went out to his favorite steakhouse for dinner. Ethan enjoyed singing Happy Birthday to his JaJa. Sunday morning, Ethan was surprised with a couple Easter gifts from the Easter Bunny ( by the way he does not get this Easter Bunny thing ha). Nathan and I (aka the Easter Bunnies) have always made an egg trail around the house for Ethan to wake up and find his Easter basket. It's a tradition we will always do! After a fun morning together, we headed off to church as a family. Nothing is better then Church with my boys on Easter. After Church , we headed out with my parents to eat and celebrate Easter. I seriously took 1,000 pictures this weekend but it was totally worth it. I just love all the sweet priceless memories spent with family and celebrating Jesus. I am so thankful to have our blog  to post all my pictures and document our journey as a family. Hope Everyone had a wonderful Easter, Love the Badgers.

~Decorating Eggs~

Last night, we invited my parents over to help decorate eggs with Ethan. This was Ethan's first experience with decorating eggs, and as predicted he absolutely loved every single minute of it. He was super fascinated by all of the bright colors of water and how it dyed your skin if you touched it. He was however , a little confused why you put eggs in color and can color on them with a magic crayon and stick stickers on them. I know Ethan relates eggs with eating and cooking so he was like "what you can color them too"????? It was priceless to watch his reaction to all of this. Let me just say, that we completely let him do it himself ( pictures are proof -dye - and -messes everywhere...but it was totally worth it)! We just tried to guide him how to decorate eggs, he listened very well and caught on very quickly. I really enjoyed this activity as a family and we will have to do it again next year.  We have a MESSY professional egg decorator on our hands.

Springtime Fun Part 1

Last night, Nathan surprised Ethan and I when he got home from work!  He wanted to take us out for a nice dinner and then the park afterwards. It was so cute. My husband is such a wonderful man. He works so hard to provide for us and always wants to take us out for good times (even when he is exhausted from work). Ethan was beyond excited when I told him Daddy was taking him out to eat and then to the park. I am truly blessed to have my boys! After the park we feed the ducks and my boys picked flowers for me! It is the simple things in life that mean the most:)

Flowers that my boys picked me on the way home from the park. I added a little sass to it. Love these in my home right now, they are darling.
These pictures are not from yesterday, but I wanted to share some pictures of Ethan hard at work outside...
