Call us crazy parents, but daddy and mommy had a bright ideal to take Ethan outside in our backyard to see the snow. IT WAS SO FUN. We are so glad we did it. Of course we bundled him up to where he could not even move..... it was safe and fun so why not?

Ethan's 4 MONTHS Old and growing like crazy!!!!

Today daddy and mommy took Ethan to his four month check up. And what can we say HE IS PERFECT!! No seriously he is. Again we were told by our pediatrician that he is very advanced for his age. Ethan is a big show off at his appointments. Ethan was talking so loudly the nurse across the hall could hear him. Then he decided to try and eat mommy and daddy while making funny noises. I will say we have great times at these appointments until the very end when the shots happen. Oh boy does it make Ethan upset. Our baby will pucker up his whole entire face an look so sad. Then as parents we feel so bad, but we know the shots are a must. You would think with all of his extra layers of fat he would not feel a thing .... but he does.
Here is some information from Ethan's four month check up:
Our Monkey weighed in @ 16 pounds 10 oz and was 26 1/2 inches long.
To sum this all up: We have a very chunky/tall Baby.

Ethan is doing so many new things. He just loves to play patty cake. He tries so hard to bring his hands together when he hears the patty cake song. Ethan does very well on his tummy, he lifts his head so high that his entire upper half is off the floor completly. HE IS SO STRONG. He halfway rolls over. Ethan's three new favorite things to do are jumping in his jumper, taking baths, and making noises. We contiue to read to Ethan every night and then say our prayers. He can reconize some songs that we repeat. He is so smart. We have already given in to starting cereal. We try and eat together at the dinner table every night. We had the plan of waiting but Ethan is so interested in eating we started at 4 months. He enjoys his cereal, but loves mommy's milk. Ethan breastfeeds about every 3 hrs. He is going through a stage where he will not sleep through the night. We are working so hard to make that happen, but it doesn't look promising. Ethan is such a happy baby and is full of life. We are looking forward to Ethan's First Chirstmas.... it is going to be so special with him. Santa has lots of gifts for Ethan becuase he is such a good little baby boy!!!!

Ethan Vists Mr and Mrs. Claus!!!

Ethan Visits Mr. & Mrs. Claus... and an Elf... or should I say Ethan sings to Mr. and Mrs. Claus and an Elf
On Saturday December 13th, some of our family took Ethan to see Santa @ the Crown Point Court House. And oh boy Ethan put on show for everyone to see. We thought Ethan would cry or not be interested in Santa. He defiantly proved the crew wrong. Our baby was hilarious. Ethan began hmmmming as we would say singing to Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Not softly either , Ethan sang for the entire courthouse to hear. He would look at them and smile and put up his lips then hmmmming came out so loud and clear. It made our day! What a great way to remember Ethan's first visit to Santa. After visiting Santa mommy's sister Auntie had a family gathering for my 26th Birthday at her house. Ethan was so spoiled as usual. I do not think Ethan was ever put down the entire day!!!

The Vacuum Is Mommy's Best Friend & Ethan in Daddy's Baby Shoes

When Daddy and Ethan were hanging out around the house during football Sunday, apparently Daddy took these pictures of Ethan with Daddy's baby shoes on. I thought it was so cute. These baby shoes Nathan wore when he was Ethan's age. Daddy scored some brownie points with mommy for doing such a cute thing, of course Nathan did it for laughs, I thought it was sweet.

So lately, our little Ethan has been having trouble falling asleep when it is nap time. So, I took word of advice from a neighbor friend and ran the vacuum while putting Ethan down for a nap in his swing. BOY OH BOY DOES THAT TRICK WORK.

Riley Hospital Visit and Dinner with Kara & The Princess Jadyn

The best part of our visit to Indy was being able to meet up with a best friend of mine and her daughter. Well, shall i say Auntie Kara and my niece. I held jadyn when she was 2 months old and used to rock her to sleep every chance I had. They live in Florida so we do not get to see them as much. I need to work on talking Kara into just staying in Indiana.... WE MISS THEM WAY TO MUCH. As the pictures show, The princess was so ADORABLE as ever..... and she made the funniest faces to me. She really made my day. Ethan loved her. The funniest picture was of Jadyn sleeping in the car when they arrived. We had a great time talking and visiting.

Let's just say when Ethan has a Riley doctor's appointment, its a long emotional and stressful day. Ethan was a trooper during his renal exam. It was not as bad as his first renal exam when he was a month old because we knew what to expect this time. I will say it is very hard for daddy and I to watch Ethan go through this test but we know we had to stay strong for our perfect angel. After the renal exam we meet with Ethan's specialist Dr. Kafer to go over the results. The test is done by all numbers.... the numbers looked great! His kidneys are working perfectly fine on their own, A TRUE BLESSING. We were told by doctor Kafer that their is now no need for another renal exam in the future. We were also told more news. Ethan will have to have a couple of surgeries in the future. Nothing we cannot get through with such strong family, friends, and god. Ethan has been through allot so far , but thankfully he will not remember much. Daddy will post more about what Dr. Kafer said about Ethan's surgeries. I do not explain everything as well as he can. Here are some pictures of us 3 @ Riley Hospital.

So , apparently mommy's weird lol.... I was so excited to take these pics with Dora our dog and Ethan. Daddy thought it was a funny thing to do but in the end was happy we did it. I mean not many people match their dog with their baby... ex specially pajamas !!! Mommy does !
