Ethan is Growing into such a Big Boy , First Day of Preschool !!!

So many exciting things have been happening in our family!
~We found out we were pregnant!
~ My sister who has been trying for 3 years found out she was pregnant!
~Ethan turns 3!!!!
~We find out we are having a healthy baby boy and my sister is having a healthy baby girl!
~ Ethan has his 3 year old well check-up where we find out how HEALTHY and smart he is! His check-up went great!
And on Monday, Ethan STARTED PRESCHOOL. I cannot believe Ethan had his first day of school. It was a very happy emotional moment for me. Our baby is growing up so fast. It's so true how it happens, it goes so fast. I prepared myself the night before but it did not matter, as soon as I dropped him off I walked to my car with tears just streaming. I was just so proud of the BIG BOY my Ethan has become. I had my normal Mommy worries while he was at school, and of course I missed him like crazy, but for the most part they all seemed to fade away after picking him up from school.  My heart melted during pick-up time, when he ran up to me and my mom. He looked a little tired but was happy. He was so proud to show me his awesome art work he did (already being proudly displayed in home). I LOVED listening to what he did in school, and what he thought about it. I am certain we made the right decision to send Ethan this year. He was SO READY to have this next big step. I look forward to the next 2 years ( he will have to go 2 more since the cut off date for Kindergarten you have to be 5 by August 1st. His birthday is Aug.13th)  of preschool and hope it goes very slowly. I just know watching him grow and learn new things will be the best part of it all.  Below are Ethan  stats from his 3 year old well check -up and pictures from his first day at school.
3 year Old Stats:
43 Pounds- ( big growing boy)
41 inches Tall - (extremely tall for his age)
Ethan measured and weighed off the charts. This was no surprise to us, he has been growing like a weed since he was 2 years old. We are so proud of our future football player he he:)

First day of school, taking it all in. This was the most serious I have ever seen my Ethan. If you know Ethan, he normally is smiling so big and being silly. He was being such a big boy for such a big day. Totally Seriousness!!!!

First Art Project to bring home. We already have a collection from his first two days. We are working on a huge bulletin board to display his precious art work.

After school , and of course a much needed nap, Ethan and I made cookies to celebrate the big  day. I wanted to do something special with my big boy. Ethan loves making chocolate chip cookies. We had a great time. I also made a Delicious pot roast for dinner!! The day went well!

I am having a Boy & My Sister is having a Girl !!!!!!!!!

Last Monday, we had our big 19 week Ultrasound. As most of you know this is a very important time, to determine the health and sex (if you want) of your baby. With my first pregnancy this is when we found out about Ethan's condition. Nathan and I were defiantly nervous and excited at the same time. At the beginning it was kind of hard to relax, but I tried my hardest. Our little guy decided to  display his man parts as soon as our ultrasound technician began. She did not even have the time to ask if we wanted to know the sex of our baby. It was so funny. I shouted out " Um I am pretty sure that is a boy". She said, "Well let me see, Oh Yes that is a Boy". So folks, we are adding another boy to our gang. I am thinking I may have myself a football team ha!  The best part of all of this, after a long week of waiting for our ultrasound results, we were told that our BABY BOY IS HEALTHY!!!!!!! Is that not a true BLESSING or what????? We are so incredibly thankful and feel so happy.
Ethan is going to be the best big brother. He loves on my belly all the time, and asks about his baby brother all day. He gets the biggest smile on his face when we talk about it. He was determined I was having a boy and my sister was having a girl. Boy was he right. My sister and brother in law found out days after me that they were having a GIRL!!!!!!! We are so happy for them. We are going to love and spoil her non-stop. Blessings all around, so many of them.  Thank You all for your support and prayers, we are very thankful for all of them.

Ethan's 3rd Birthday Party !!!

   Ethan's 3rd Birthday Party was a blast!!!! We celebrated this year on his actual birthday August 13th!!!  Ethan wanted to celebrate with friends at Bellaboos. Bellaboos is a hand-on kids activity place. It is always a good time. This was Ethan's first "kids birthday party", it was a true hit. We also had our family there! Ethan enjoyed every minute of it. He said his favorite things about his party was the ball pit room and opening presents:) Here are many pictures, enjoy:) I cannot believe our baby is 3 !!!!!!

On Ethan's birthday evening we took Ethan out to eat. After a long fun day of celebrating it was nice to relax and enjoy dinner with family. Ethan LOVED his dessert!

Dear Sweet Ethan Lee,
Tomorrow you will be 3 years old. Your father and I are amazed on how fast you grew right in front of our eyes. You have lost all of your baby looks, and now look like a big boy. You are getting so tall and growing out of all of your shoes and clothes. We still keep trying to figure out how to stop you from growing, but nothing seems to work. The truth is you will ALWAYS be our baby.

   Ethan, you have had such an amazing past year. You have been healthy and happy, and we are so thankful for this. You continue to be a fighter, letting nothing to hold you back. Daddy and I only wish we could be as strong as you are. You are the silliest, happiest, outgoing kid on earth! There is never a dull moment with you, you are truly special. You have taught us so many amazing things about life; we are so amazed by you! Each and every day, your father and I thank the lord for blessing us with you. We keep falling even more in love with you each and every day, our hearts want to explode.

You are learning so many new things. You are super smart, your memory amazes us. You are very independent, you love to do everything “all by yourself”. Everybody that knows you laughs at how silly you are. They would also say you talk non-stop; the things you say daily are PRICELESS. Your imagination is totally awesome. You love to play and spend time with your family and friends. Your favorite things to do right now are swimming and ride your bike/toys. You are always up for a game of something (cars/ tractors, sports, Imaginative play, getting dirty outside) . You are all boy!

We love how easy going you are, you are truly such a good kid. Everyone tells us that you are always smiling. Your heart is full of love. We are so blessed.
