Volleyball Game , First School Pictures, and a 1st Birthday Party

It's Thursday, last day of summer wow!!! I have to be honest I am very excited for FALL:) My favorite season!!!  Things around here have been super busy!!  My mother had her surgery yesterday, and it went well!!! Thank you all for the prayers, she is at home recovering!!! Ethan is at school, so I decided to take time out and blog for a little bit. I plan to have my 25 week pregnancy update soon! Until then here are some things.....

This Tuesday,  Ethan and I went to visit one of my close friends coach her middle school volleyball team. We went to cheer them on! Ethan was super excited because, he was able to play with her daughter Ella. They have known each other since Ethan was a newborn!  Ethan and Ella always have a good time together. After the game, we visited Erin's classroom . The kiddos had a blast! Love fun times like this!

Yesterday, Ethan had his first school pictures. He did a great job, I was impressed. I was lucky to watch the entire experience because I had to bring him in for the pictures. He has school Tuesdays and Thursdays, and pictures fell on a Wednesday. I loved every minute of it. He was being a complete ham for the camera lady. Lets just say my little man is not shy of the camera. These were two pictures I took of E before his pictures!

This past weekend we celebrated a very special little boy's first birthday. Dane is turning one. As always, Laurie did an amazing job throwing a party. The theme was sock monkey, Super Cute!!  I feel like it was just yesterday I was cuddling him in the hospital when he was born. I love him so much. Happy Birthday Sweet Dane Penziol!

First Field Trip at School & A Special Visit

Last week, Ethan had his first preschool field trip to the fire station! I could not pass up going along and helping out with his class. I loved how many other parents showed up as well, our group was huge! The entire experience was super fun, and I was so happy to watch Ethan interact with his classmates. His preschool class is beyond adorable, and he has an amazing teacher. Ethan loves and I mean loves anything to do with fire trucks or fire fighters. He is obsessed. He could not wait for this field trip and loved everything about it. I was so proud because during our tour at the fire station one of the fire fighters asked who could tell him their address, and Ethan raised his hand to do just that. Proud Mommy moment for sure! We are looking forward to Ethan's next classroom field trip to Garwoods (Apple Orchard) early October. Here are some pictures....



Before we were leaving to meet up for Ethan's school fieldtrip he told me he needed to use my phone to call somebody! So funny!



This past weekend, Ethan and I made a special little trip to visit our best friends who were in town. I miss my best friend Ashley and her sweet family so much! It has been way to long since our last visit, so I was more then ready to see them. We are so lucky and blessed to have them in our lives. Here are some pictures from our visit...

Jack surpised Ethan with a new Colts hat. Ethan wears it everyday. We have been getting our boys together since they were a couple months old! Now they are 3!!! Time needs to slow down!

Believe it or not, Ethan and I have already decorated for fall! I cannot wait for it to get here. Hope you all have a wonderful week!

Labor Day Weekend Fun!

This Labor Day weekend was full of fun for us. We started it off  on Friday by taking Ethan to a local train show. My parents were so excited to take him to ride the trains. Ethan has always loved them, so he was super excited as well. It was a very fun experience. We will defiantly go back next year. Saturday and Sunday we had birthday parties galore for Ethan's friends. Our first birthday party for our neighbor (Ethan's good buddy) I forgot my camera total bummer! Thankfully, I remembered for the other party!!! Both parties were a blast, and Ethan enjoyed himself so much. The rest of the weekend, we enjoyed a cookout lunch with family, a last minute lunch with friends, and some outlet mall shopping of course. I even fit in cleaning out Ethan's closet for the new seasons:)  I was so happy to relax a little bit yesterday! Last night, Nathan and I began searching ideals for baby boy's nursery!!!! Hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day Weekend. Now onto one of my favorite seasons fall! Oh and below this post, I did a pregnancy highlight post.
