All about Little Man!!!

Hello Everyone!!!! I am making this blog entry ALL about our little man Mr. Ethan. I want to forewarn you I am going to brag alot about my son, and could not be more excited about it. I hope you all enjoy reading about Ethan.

Where to begin???? Ethan is two years old going on five. He acts way older then his age, and If you have seen him lately he looks way older then his age (tall , very tall in size 4t already). He is talking very well, and is way to smart for his own good. He is in the stage where he is already asking why questions ABOUT EVERYTHING.  Lately, Nathan and I find ourselves having to explain  answers to everything, it's great, but at times tricky. We want to give him the best truthful answers.... I have to admit depending on the question it can be difficult. I know this is only the beginning right?

Ethan continues to say almost every letter of the alphabet song, and has almost mastered his letter flashcards but 10 of them. He is really into counting everything, but likes to skip 3 and 4, but can almost go up to 20.  I have to say Ethan has a VERY VERY good memory and remembers everything. He does not take after me with this skill, must be his daddy (he he). If you ask Ethan what the names are of his trains "Thomas the trains" he can name off each train's name and their color. This kiddo has almost every collector train to date. He loves trains, cars, tractors etc... His good memory is helping him repeat verses of songs, books, directions, etc. Ethan can tell you where his house is, where his favorite stores are "Wal-Mart and Target", some restaurants, his doctor's office, family / friends houses, and where family members work at. He is very impressive!  And he will say, "I'm Kmart Smart," from the commercial I guess....

If Ethan could pick his favorite two movies right now they would be "Jungle Book and Horton Hears a Who".  Ethan is OBSESSED with these movies, I am sure it will change soon, but for now he is in Love.  Ethan's favorite television shows are Curious Gorge, Sid the Science Kid, Cat in The Hat, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and dances very well to all the theme songs... Speaking of Dancing, my kid has some moves!!!  We are thankful Ethan can do without the television, meaning it does not always have to be on.

As for his favorite foods, EVERYTHING. He is a wonderful eater, not picky at all. Since Ethan has been little we have ALWAYS sat at the dinner table every night as a family to eat. I make sure even if Daddy is at work to continue our tradition. For some time now, Ethan has been able to say his entire dinner prayer "god is good, god is great, thank you lord for the food on my plate". It may not sound exactly how it should, but we can make out this entire verse. Ethan is starting to use more of his  manors.  He is very good at saying , "bless you, thank you,  your welcome, PLEASE , and THANK YOU". I have to admit these manors have not been easy, we are still working on them.
Ethan is a very active little boy. You will not catch him laying around. He is always into something, I should say always into something he shouldn't be. He is our little explorer.
Ethan loves watching Colts football with daddy, playing football with daddy, coloring, painting, books, helping daddy fix everything with his tools, imaginative play, playing with family and friends, and of course his toys. He is very interested in playing play doh, he could play with it for hours.

Our almost 28 month old, is full of life and loving. He has his naughty days and his good boy days. You can find him smiling most of the time. He is always saying the funniest things, and has the most unique laugh known. He is ALL boy, and will show you. We are so thankful god blessed us with such a sweet special miracle. We only wish we were is strong as our Little Man. We are just so blessed and lucky to have him as our son, he has taught us so much.

Thank you for reading about Ethan, I think it's pretty easy to brag about him. We are just so crazy about our son, and THANKFUL.

Monday's Thoughts!

Hello All! I feel like it has been soooo hard to blog lately, meaning more then a couple sentences and pictures.  I truly love blogging it has just become more difficult then usual. I have been super busy taking care of my sweet Ethan who just got over a horrible case of strep throat and first ear infection. Thankfully, Ethan is feeling much better.
My new hobby (not sure what to call it yet hobby, job?????), has been keeping me REAL busy as well.  Since my first craft show, I have been NON STOP with orders, and I am happy to say they keep coming. I am more then thankful for this. I honestly love doing this. I do want to make a statement on here about my Doodlebug Creations. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank my loving family and my very close friends (you know who you are) for supporting me. It feels so good that I have you to back me up.  I love that even know these Doodlebug Creations are for fun, and nothing more then a hobby, you all make me feel so good about it. Okay I'm done now, just wanted to say a personal thank you!
Onto a Shout Out, My Bestest Friend Ashley Harrison just welcomed their second baby boy, Beau Bradley Harrison, into this world. I am beyond excited for them. I wish them all of the love and happiness with their family of FOUR now! Ashley and Nathan are wonderful kind loving parents and Jack also known as Big Brother, is full of LOVE. They are just great! Love you  and a Big Congrats to the Harrisons....

Stay tuned for an Ethan update this week. I am so excited to share what my little man has been up too! I can tell you one thing, he is such a fun loving little boy that is full of life. He is Two years old going on 5!!! He acts like such a big boy and talks like one too!  I should add real quick that the terrible twos can be trying at times, but we are getting better.

Before I go, I want to share a couple of things I am thankful for. Most important, is God. I pray to him every day how thankful I am for him.  God is my strength, he is so powerful. I am thankful for my family,  my Husband's job, Ethan's Doctors (Riley Hospital and Nurses) , Home Sweet Home, true friends that I can actually call TRUE,  and Once again God!

I asked Mr. Ethan and his girlfriend Lyla  (  Lyla is a sweet little girl I get to watch a couple days a week) , what they are thankful for, Ethan said "food" and Lyla said "Ethan and Dora". They are so darn cute! Priceless.
I will be back on here soon enough.

October Fun with a Cute Lil Cowboy!!!

October was very eventful for us! A couple weekends ago, we attended our local Boo at the Zoo for the first time. Nathan, Ethan, and I meet up with a group of our friends and their kiddos. Ethan had a blast with his lady friends Lyla and Ella!  The kiddos enjoyed looking at all of the animals, watching the other kiddos all dressed up running around, and getting some yummy treats!  Fun times was had by all, even us parents!

Ethan dressed up as a cowboy this year! A while back, we picked out Ethan's costume together when we were shopping at the mall. Ethan said "me be a cowboy daddy"! When Nathan and I saw the costume we just knew it was calling Ethan's name! I love this picture! Ethan was checking out how he looked in his costume for the first time, PRICELESS!
 !

Last week, Ethan and I hosted a Halloween Party Playgroup at my house with our Moms Club.  It was a huge turnout. We had about 45 guest total, most of them being kids! Everyone brought some type of treat to go in the kids bags, and food and or dessert to share. We had festive games, crafts, toys, and many more activities for the kids to do. The party was a great hit! I'm glad I hosted this year.

Yee Haw!!!!

This Halloween Sunday, we headed out to my sisters house for an afternoon of fun and a night of trick-or-treating. Aunt Shannon and Uncle Adam were so good to us. They made us delicious foods and desserts, not to mention games for Ethan! Uncle Adam even dressed up as Cat In The Hat for Ethan! We are so thankful for our family, they are so good to us. This was Ethan's first year to trick-or-treat. Ethan did a great job, we were all impressed. He went up to each door all by himself.. and on his own said "trick-or-treat" followed by a "thank you". At times Ethan even would say "Happy Halloween". He was truly a complete ham the entire time! He enjoyed every minute of this new tradition.
Unfortunately, Ethan is now sick.  We rested the entire day away trying to make him feel better. We go to the doctor tomorrow so we shall see. Hope you all have a great week!
