Finally we have power whoo hoo! Unfortunately, a couple days ago we had a really intense storm, tornado winds, hit our area. It was really crazy how fast the storm hit us! We were so so lucky we only had a little damage to our deck and one small tree down, others up our road have SEVERE damage. It was really scary for Ethan and I because Daddy was at work. Ethan, our doggy Dora, and I were in a dark basement alone. Thankfully my parents came and rescued us after the storm hit. Needless to say, things have been a bit crazy around here. Poor Ethan was scared about all of the trees down outside, he would say (swoosh tree down) over and over, and to top that, he is finally getting his one year molar in. Having no power and a restless active toddler...no rest or sleep for us! Things are looking way better here today so can't complain!
Days ago, my dad brought over a turtle for Ethan to see (he loves turtles)! The turtle is somewhere far by now, but Ethan enjoyed it while it was here. We called him Tuck, Tuck the turtle!
This week (before the terrible storm hit us) Ethan and I made a cake for fun! Ethan LOVES to help Mommy and Daddy, with anything he can do to "help" he loves! His ultimate favorite thing to do is help "fix" things with daddy. He did enjoy baking with me....it was a fun "different" activity to do with my lil man. I told Ethan he could have a lick of the frosting and he went a little overboard! It's okay though, I told him he could, Ethan was celebrating his best bud's Jack Jack's birthday since they live so far away ha! Ethan would say "Jack cake"... Happy 2nd Birthday Jack, we sure do love and miss you!

Last but not least, Ethan has started putting rocks in his pocket. All it took for this new obsession, was one day, Aunt Shannon was playing with Ethan outside and put a rock in his pocket, he thought it was hilarious, ever since he now has to do it...... and one ended up in our washer...
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, we have so much going on but I am so looking forward to it! Tonight fun with friends, and tomorrow my beautiful cousin's wedding.
