Last week on March 14th, my mom and I went to baby badger's appointment. The appointment went really well. The baby is doing really well. I was able to see my favorite nurse this time. My mother was laughing because I had like 20 questions to ask her before the visit was over. One of my questions was "Can I sleep on my stomach at night?" , for some odd reason I still am addicted to sleeping on my stomach. My stomach is only getting bigger day by day, you would think I would be unconformable but I am not.... The nurse was able to show me exactly how the baby was laying in my tummy. So, good news. During this visit we were told that on April 11th we would be able to find out if we were having a boy or a girl. I just have to find out or I WILL GO LOCO CRAZY.... Nathan could probably wait but, I just cannot. Since last week, I have had a horrible killer head cold and cough... let me tell you it is no fun. Luckily as of today I am a little better. Well, I am having a coughing attack so I have to go... I will post more soon....
Hope everyone has a Happy Easter God Bless!!!
p.s. As soon as My Brother Robert comes home this weekend from Purdue.... I promise my ever growing belly bump pictures Will be posted... with the help of my awesome brother....

Welcome to our Baby Badger Page!!!!! 17 1/2 weeks Pregnant.... I finally have a baby bump!!!!!!
Hello! Hello! Finally, I have put this neat web page to use l.o.l. I will hopefully be updating this blog as much as I can to keep all of our family, friends, and co-workers updated on Mommy "that's me" and baby badger. I am already 17 1/2 weeks pregnant. Nathan and I feel as if time has flown by with the pregnancy. Unfortunately, during my first trimester I was very sick. I thought that my nausea would never go away. I felt nauseous all day, not just in the morning like some. I still have my bad days of feeling ill, but nothing like I went through at the beginning. Latley, for some reason at night is when I feel the worst. I tell myself that feeling ill is all worth it for our baby. Recently, I have been keeping busy with work during the week and relaxing on the weekend. My mother and I have been enjoying shopping all weekend and going to church as much as we can. Nathan, is also keeping busy with work. Nathan just got back from visiting his good friends in Florida and is now keeping busy with projects all around the house. Dora, our first "daughter" (our german shepherd) has been very attentive and protective of the mommy-to-be, and is doing a wonderful job. We think she is just as excited as we are ;) Also, my sister's dog Bella lynn got to see her auntie's bump on her belly, and gave it lots of kisses because she was so happy for her auntie weesa. Then, bella decided to look at her grammie's belly to see if she had a baby in there, too. oops bella, not a good idea ;)
Now for our precious baby bump update......
Our first doctor's appointment was so exciting for us. I wish everyone could have seen us during our first doctor's visit. We were so ...so ...so....excited to meet our doctor and hear how far along I was. Not to mention, we just could not wait to see baby-beano on our first ultra-sound. It was amazing, I thought I would have cried but I didn't. I feel as if I was just more excited than anything. Nathan, was so involved with asking questions and making the whole entire experience fun. Nathan and I loved our Doctor. He was everything we could ask for. Our doctor's name is Dr. Ellis. As for the second doctor's visit, On Valentines day, we were able to hear our baby's heartbeat for the first time. Nathan's face was priceless, and I do not think I have ever seen him so happy. I on the other hand, was definately happy, but for some odd reason I could not hear the heartbeat and was asking our doctor to "do it again" like three times . Needless to say, after the second time I heard my lil baby's heartbeat and just melted. The feeling that came over my body was amazing and I never wanted it to go away. Tomorrow,March 14th is our next doctor's appointment and I am bringing my mother along this visit. She is so excited to come... I do not think that she knows this... but I am even more excited for her to be apart of the visit than she probably knows. Speaking of my mother she has this silly crazy fetish of buying baby clothes at least once a week. My mother has already filled the baby's closet, I am not complaining by all means, I just hope when we find out the sex of the baby she is able to take the other half of the clothes back lol..... NATHAN AND I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE FOR ALL OF THE GENOUROUS BABY GIFTS WE HAVE RECIVED.
Hope everyone enjoys our blog... cannot wait to update it very soon...
Due Date : August 26th
